Amen Idawu is the Ag. Group Head, Business Intelligence, FarmAfrikOrg. She provides new strategies and technical recommendations to the executive management. Overseeing product performance across the African region and benchmarking sales budget at large for the organization. Prior to this, she was Head, Business Development. She is committed to cutting-edge ideation, optimum innovation, and wealth creation for sustainable business development and outcomes. She began her professional career with Zenith Bank PLC in 2008, where she worked across various functions in Domestic Operations, Marketing and Relationship Management. She also worked in Managerial positions at Bridgefund Solutions Limited.
Prior to joining FarmAfrikOrg, Amen has contributed to Cluster-Knowledge Lab through ethnographic study, data analysis, research outreaches and scholarly presentations as Assistant Researcher, University of Lagos. She is the founder, Women Support Pool, a platform that seeks to end the culture of gender biasness that have relegated women to a lower stratum in leadership role structures, whilst advocating growth through trainings on personal, career and business developments. She has been conferred “Omoluka” by the National Council of Women Society (NCWS). Her practical innovations and humanitarian disposition have earned other recognitions/awards and commendations. She is an active member of Lagos Studies Association, and National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Nigeria.
Amen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Literature (University of Benin); Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education (University of Lagos); Master of Arts degrees in English Language (University of Lagos); Master of Arts degree in African & Diaspora Studies (University of Lagos). She is a recipient of several certifications; Content Marketing, University of California, Davis; EQUIP, John C. Maxwell Leadership Scheme, amongst others. She possesses requisite skills in marketing and sales, communication, planning, monitoring and appraising tasks using KPI’s. Her interest in the Nigerian Agricultural terrain is driven by her passion for food security in Africa. She contributes effective solutions to the growth and development of the company.
